He gave us powerful weapons!

My dear fellow believer, God has given us the greatest weapons of warfare. Our weapons are not like what you see in the military. Those are powerful physical weapons that help to keep our borders safe today. Our weapons are divinely powerful. They help us to destroy arguments and philosophies that have set themselves against the knowledge of God. Our weapons can destroy mindsets of destruction in families and communities. They can help people come out of darkness to the saving knowledge of Christ. We have His Spirit. We have the mind of Christ. We have the gifts of His Spirit. We have the fruits of the Spirit. We have revelation knowledge by His Spirit. We have His grace and favor every day. We need to begin to engage our weapons of warfare instead of depending on worldly wisdom.  Worldly wisdom will only lead you to pride and arrogance, and will separate you from God’s wisdom and love. Understand this, no wisdom of the world can compare to God’s wisdom. God created the Heavens and the Earth. The worldly wisdom will only try to imitate God. Satan doesn’t create anything. He only copies and deceives. Which wisdom will you embrace?

2 Corinthians 10: 4,5 (AMP)The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,”

What is really important?

When people are asked what would they want as gifts, most would ask for material things. God was pleased when Solomon asked only for wisdom when asked. God gave him wisdom, but He also blessed him with great resources. It’s sad to consider that most people chase after things that in reality will not satisfy in the end. Many seek things to get joy, but when we please God, He blesses the faithful with wisdom, knowledge and joy. Some are not even aware that God will transfer the wealth of the wicked to the just. Read what King Solomon shared about this: Ecclesiastes 2:26 (JUB) “For God gives to the man that is good in his sight wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he gives travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to the one that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.” So instead of chasing after things, pursue God and His goodness. When you seek God and His righteousness first, all of the things will be “added” to you!
