He simply won’t allow it!

Proverbs 3:26 says: “for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.” There are many traps in life. The enemy of our souls is very creative  and he will attempt to ensnare us in many ways. Frankly, we are no match for him in our own power. But if we put our lives in the hands of the Lord, He promises that He will protect us. He is our security. The Lord sees what we cannot see. Our military has a really cool gadget that allows the soldiers to see at night. This gives them the upper hand when they are in battle during the night hours. Since their enemies cannot see at night with their natural eyes, our military has the upper hand, and of course, because of their enhanced ability to see what others cannot see, they will win. It’s the same way with our Lord. He sees what we cannot see, even in the dark periods of our lives. He promises us that if we trust Him, He will keep our foot from being caught in a trap. We don’t have to go into battle alone. He’s with us every day and in every situation. Be encouraged today. Greater is He that is in you!

Proverbs 3:26for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.”

Favor is coming to you!

Proverbs 8:35 (AMPC) “For whoever finds me [Wisdom] finds life and draws forth and obtains favor from the Lord.”

Favor is a powerful word. Here is its meaning in the original Hebrew:  “when someone is pleased or delighted with you.  It’s a solid reaction of a superior to an inferior.” God is superior to us, so when He shows us favor, He is showing his pleasure with us. He is delighted with us. Favor carries rewards with it. When earthly kings bestow favor upon someone, they are showing that they are pleased with that subject and reward them accordingly, whether with promotions, accolades or benefits. The Holy Scriptures teach that when we pursue Godly wisdom, we will will obtain favor from the Lord! This is His promise. I don’t have to beg for this. I just have to pursue wisdom. Wisdom brings with it life and favor. When you go before the King of kings, make sure you are carrying wisdom with you. The King will be pleased and delighted with you, and will show you favor (life, benefits, promotions, protection, affirmation, authority, joy and peace). And, He will bestow this to you in the presence of friends and foes alike! Something to think about today.
