It is good to depend upon the Lord!

Trust is a powerful belief. When we trust, we act with positive dependance upon those we trust. Trust breeds security and confidence in relationships. Trust causes us to feel safe with someone else because we perceive them as being reliable. We can depend upon a trustworthy person. This is one of the most important factors in any successful relationship. Lamentations 3:25,26 (NLT) says: “The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord.” Psalm 5:11 says: “But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You.” People might have failed you in the past, but never allow that to filter in to your relationship with God. God is not a man that He should lie. If He said it, He will do it; If He spoke it, He will bring it to pass! Let your trust in the Lord be your anchor and strength in your life. Even if people fail you, God is with you. He will never fail you. Remember, the Lord is good to those who depend on Him!

It came to pass, not to stay!

We all experience attacks from the enemy. This is part of the Christian experience. The Lord Jesus once said: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). The good thing is that the scriptures reveal these times of persecution, tribulation and testing are only for a season. Psalm 30:5 says: “Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.” Seasons of testing have an expiration date. When Satan tested Jesus, he left him after he had tested Him: Luke 4: 12-13 “And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.” So if you are in the middle of a trial, a test or in the desert, be reminded today that it is not permanent. Remember that He told us to be of good cheer because He already overcame the world, and now we have the spirit of the overcomer within us. With His help, you will come out on the other side victorious and with a great testimony!
