The Lord will restore!

“But I am innocent. I didn’t do what they said I did.” Have you ever had to say that? Were you ever placed in a position where you were truly innocent, yet you were blamed for something? This is not new. Joseph was sold into slavery because his brothers were jealous of him. Job went through tremendous adversity even though he was a righteous man. However, if you look at their latter state, God restored everything to them, and even blessed them beyond anything they could even imagine. Sometimes the enemy attacks you because of your purpose and potential. If you are going through a season like this, understand that there is a recompense coming your way. Continue to stand on His promises, no matter what the enemy or others might be accusing you of. God knows you and is with you. Your breakthrough is on its way!

Job 42:10 “And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.”

God will give you divine recompense for any loss!

Recompense is a powerful word! It means: “To give something to by way of compensation (as for a service rendered or damage incurred). An equivalent or a return for something done, suffered, or given.” Hebrews 10:35 says: “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.”  Notice how our confidence in God has a great recompense of reward. When we confide in God and His promises, God takes note of that, and He rewards us. Even if you lose something in the process of trusting God. You might even suffer persecution for your faith. Yet, in all of this, you can be sure that God will reward you for your faith and confidence in Him. Matthew 19:29 says: “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.” For everything that we lose for His sake, we shall receive something better, and the greatest blessing is that He has given us eternal life and an eternal home with Him. So don’t fret for what you have lost, rejoice in what you have gained in Christ!
