One of the many reasons that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit is that we need supernatural strength for our journey. There will be many times where circumstances, trials and tribulations will come and deplete us of our joy and strength. That is when we need to tap into the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit Who dwells within us. There is unlimited power for us each and every day! Colossians 1:11 says: “Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy”. Don’t allow the enemy to deceive you into thinking that you are all alone. God’s Holy Spirit is with you and will provide you will all the strength, wisdom, strategy, and joy to overcome any attack of the enemy! His Grace is sufficient and His faithfulness is consistent. Be encouraged today. Holy Spirit is right there with you. No weapon formed against you will prosper! You are more than an overcomer through Christ Who loves you and gave His life for you!
Overcomers inherit the blessings!
An overcomer is: “One who succeeds in dealing with or gaining control of some problem or difficulty, one who refused to be defined by any past failure or struggle.” Similar words are: “to defeat, to conquer, to beat, master, prevail, stop.” Therefore, to overcome has to do with one who has to confront problems or difficulties, and defeat or conquer them. In our walk with God, Jesus told us that we would go through difficulties, temptations, persecution, unfair attacks, etc. However, by His Spirit, He gives us the overcoming power to defeat the plans, attacks, tricks, deceits of the wicked one. One very important principle in overcoming is that we have to do our part in standing by faith in agreement with God’s plan for our lives. Sometimes it gets so hard that many have the tendency or desire to simply give up. That is what differentiates the overcomers from the ones who give in to defeat and give up. We are instructed to “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” (Ephesians 6:10). So put on the whole armor of God every day and be that “overcomer” that inherits the promises of God!
Revelation 21:7 “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.”
