Are you experiencing “Perfect Peace?”

Peace is not the absence of trouble or turmoil. It is a quiet confidence within you even in the midst of these times of trouble. The Lord Jesus was in a boat with the disciples when all of the sudden, a storm broke out (Mark 4:36-40). the storm got so bad that the disciples thought that they were going to perish. Meanwhile, Jesus was sleeping in the back of the boat. They woke Jesus out of His sleep, and even told Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” He rebuked the storm and everything calmed down. Consider this, the disciples thought they were perishing, yet Jesus was sleeping……in the midst of a storm. He had peace even in the midst of a condition where others were in panic and thought they were going to die! Today, God reminds you that He gives us His perfect peace. Do not let your heart be troubled. Even in the midst of a storm, God is there with you and the storm will NOT overtake you! Let Him give you courage and strength today!

John 14:27 (AMP)Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]”

This Love gave its best!

Most know this historic verse, John 3:16. They might even have this verse memorized. But since it is the Easter weekend, let’s read it again in the Amplified version: John 3:16 “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.” The two key words there are loved and gave. God dearly loves and prizes all of us.  This verse clearly shows the level and degree of His love toward us. Think about it, who would willingly sacrifice their child for someone that doesn’t even know them? Yet God sent Jesus to die for us while we were yet in rebellion and separated from Him because of sin: “But Christ proved God’s passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly!” Romans 5:8 (TPT) And in another verse, it says that we were enemies when He went to the cross: “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” This is a love that I have yet to understand, but today I celebrate and receive that love. I celebrate and receive this gift that God gave us in Christ! He is risen, and we are risen with Him!

John 3:16 (Amplified) “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.
