Release the masterpiece!

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” The word Workmanship is the greek word Poiema which means: poetry, masterwork, work of art, His creation, accomplishment, masterpiece. We were created for good works!

  1. This means that we are capable of doing amazing things for God’s glory. It’s not only a certain breed of person that can do good works. We all have that potential. We all are God’s masterpiece.
  2. Unfortunately, there are a lot of masterpieces that never get displayed, so the world misses out on the joy of their beauty.God gave each of us wonderful gifts and abilities. However, it’s up to us to walk in those gifts.a) He set us in His Body by His grace!                                                                                        b) God set us in the Body as it pleased Him! 1 Corinthians 12:18.                           c) God set us in His Body for the profit of all! 1 Corinthians 12:7                             d) There are no unnecessary members in the Body 1 Corinthians 12:22

Since you are already part of His Body, and it pleases Him that you are set in His Body, it’s time to release the masterpiece within you.

Favor is coming to you!

Proverbs 8:35 (AMPC) “For whoever finds me [Wisdom] finds life and draws forth and obtains favor from the Lord.”

Favor is a powerful word. Here is its meaning in the original Hebrew:  “when someone is pleased or delighted with you.  It’s a solid reaction of a superior to an inferior.” God is superior to us, so when He shows us favor, He is showing his pleasure with us. He is delighted with us. Favor carries rewards with it. When earthly kings bestow favor upon someone, they are showing that they are pleased with that subject and reward them accordingly, whether with promotions, accolades or benefits. The Holy Scriptures teach that when we pursue Godly wisdom, we will will obtain favor from the Lord! This is His promise. I don’t have to beg for this. I just have to pursue wisdom. Wisdom brings with it life and favor. When you go before the King of kings, make sure you are carrying wisdom with you. The King will be pleased and delighted with you, and will show you favor (life, benefits, promotions, protection, affirmation, authority, joy and peace). And, He will bestow this to you in the presence of friends and foes alike! Something to think about today.
