This is full of revelation!

One of God’s many characteristics is that He is very generous. You can see that in all of creation. Just look at the forests, the rain, the ocean, etc. He is also very generous in wisdom. Proverbs 2:6 (TPT) says: “Wisdom is a gift from a generous God, and every word he speaks is full of revelation and becomes a fountain of understanding within you.” If we ask God for wisdom, He will give it abundantly (James 1:5). Every word He gives us if full of revelation. Did you get that? This is why it is so important to read a verse or two, then stop and think about what was written. You will find that when you meditate or think about what you just read, the Holy Spirit will begin to give a you deeper understanding of what is hidden in those verses. Never rush when you are studying God’s word. Take your time because when you do, more revelation will come forth. His word is a fountain of understanding. And to those that love and desire knowledge from above, God will generously grant it to you. Remember, God’s word contains life, purpose, joy, peace, confidence, strategies and power to overcome any challenge or obstacle you might be facing. Be like David, who loved God’s word. It was said of David, “He is a man after God’s own heart.” What will they say about you?

I am not worried because I have this!

Worry comes when the current challenge or problem before us is magnified above God’s word and faithfulness. When we worry, in effect we are saying God can’t help us with this problem. We are on our own and this problem will overwhelm us. However, today God wants to remind us that we should reject worry. It is not part of our DNA. Our DNA is faith, confidence, joy, peace, power, boldness and expectation. Nehemiah told God’s people: “and do not be worried, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and your stronghold” (Nehemiah 8:10). It’s time to set the joy of the Lord loose in your spirit. After all, what is the option? Worry, be GONE! We have the joy of the Lord within us, and we are strong in the Lord!

Nehemiah 8:10 (b) (Amp) “…And do not be worried, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and your stronghold.”
