David went through many dark days. There were times that he thought he would die. It was during those dark times that he would cry out to the Lord, and the Lord would deliver him out of all of his troubles. He learned to not fear evil when it reared its ugly head, because he knew that God was with him in the good and bad times. Jesus promised us that He would always be with us. Never allow the enemy of your soul to deceive you into thinking that God has abandoned you. He never leaves us nor forsakes us, even when we go through the valley of the shadow of death! So walk through that valley onto the other side, because He is with you!
Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me;
When one looks more deeply regarding the Names of God in the scriptures, one could see that God would reveal a part of His nature in His Names. His Names have revealed that He is our healer, our provider, our banner, our righteousness, our sanctifier, He is a warrior, He is our Chief Pastor, He is our Father, He is the God of more than enough. And there are so many other facets of His grace toward us as one studies the Names of God. Always remember, God’s Names reveal that He is our everything, and we can trust in Him!
Psalms 23:3 (B) …He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
