Do this as unto the Lord!

2 Corinthians 9:7 says: “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” Each of us are responsible for giving and sharing what God has placed in our hands. We all have abilities, resources, and talents. The Apostle Paul counseled the believers that our service to God is to be done cheerfully, not out of any necessity, pressure or reluctance. We are to do all things with all of our hearts. Look at how Paul put it: “Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord himself and not merely for others.”(Colossians 3:23). We need to catch this revelation. God sees what we do and He loves those who give with all of their hearts. He loves the cheerful giver. Whether it is service in the local church, in your family, in industry, in government, in education, and even when we give offerings, let’s do it as unto the lord and you will please the heart of God. And remember, we can never out-give God. He will make sure that you reap bountifully and are enriched for every good work! (2 Corinthians 9: 6-11)

2 Corinthians 9:7So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”

It’ll all work out!

We all go through many crises, challenges, failures and disappointments in life.   Sometimes, it seems like we have wasted our time after having expended so much energy on a situation or problem. Yet, the scriptures remind us that even though we go through issues or situations that have caused loss or failure, God can turn the situation around. God can even turn a negative or seemingly devastating situation into something where He can get glory, and where good can come out of that issue. God can cause all things to work together for our good. Trust Him in the midst of your situation, trial or tribulation. He is working things out in the spirit realm. You will come out on the other side, and these issues will work out for good.

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”
