I’ve noticed that many people in our society today are offended at the Gospel message because they feel it condemns them. They think that the God of the Bible is angry at them and and hates them. However, we all know John 3:16 where it says: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Begotten Son, so that whoever would believe in Him would not perish, but have eternal life.” This verse of course shows the opposite of hate and condemnation. But most people don’t read the next verse which says: “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:17). Note: God did not send Jesus to condemn the world! Did you read that? He sent Him so that through Him the world would be saved. Oh, if only we would understand the love of God. He sees us destroying each other and it grieves His heart. Today, God is still reminding everyone that He loves them and Jesus’ arms are still open wide waiting for us to come to Him so that He could deliver us from the power of darkness, and translate us to His Kingdom. Selah!
