He did it for us!

Jesus said that on the earth, we will suffer tribulations, trials, distress and frustration. So it is not whether or not we will go through hard times, Jesus told us that these times will come to us, but He also told us to be of good cheer because He is with us in the midst of those tribulations and trials (John 16:33). I want you to see what this verse says in the Amplified version: “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” Wow! What a powerful promise. He even tells us that He has conquered the world FOR OUR SAKES! Are you going through great difficulties at this moment in your life? Memorize and declare this verse every day. The problems came to pass, not to stay. God will give you His perfect peace and overcoming confidence. Remember, He never leaves us nor forsakes us, so He is with you right now, even in the valley of the shadow of death, there is no need to fear. He will help you to walk through the valley and come out on the other side in total victory!

John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]”

Nothing can separate us!

When I read Romans 8:31-39, I am greatly encouraged, and my faith grows stronger. Here are the verses, and below that, I share 7 quick thoughts for you to consider today.

Romans 8:31-39 31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all — how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died — more than that, who was raised to life — is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”  37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  1. God is for us.
  2. He graciously gives us all things.
  3. God has justified us through Christ perfect sacrifice.
  4. The Lord Jesus is continuously interceding for us.
  5. We are more than Conquerors through Christ.
  6. Nothing can separate us from the Love of God that is found in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  7. Even though we go through trials and tribulations, He is there together with us because nothing can separate us.

Always remember, we can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us every day!
