What are you wearing today?

The Apostle Paul instructed us in the Book of Colossions, chapter 3, to put on “love.” Interesting way of putting it. We can actually put on love. It’s almost like putting on a shirt. We know how we want to dress on any given day or occasion. We can also decided to put on love. It’s a decision, not just an emotion. The Lord put on love when He hung on the cross for you and me. He now instructs us to put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering and love. This is something we must do. He showed us how. Now it’s our turn. The world will put on hate, racism, bad attitudes, envy, greed, favoritism, and the like. What will differentiate us in this day is what we “put on.” I have a question for you, what are you wearing today?

Colossians 3: 14-15 “But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful”.
