King David understood commitment (Psalms 119:10). He was totally committed to God and His word! The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines commitment as the state of being obligated, or emotionally impelled. a pledge to do something in the future. David was mentally, spiritually and emotionally obligated. He loved the Lord with ALL of his heart. God is committed to you. He gave His best for your future and destiny. It’s easy to spot a committed person. This is the one that will show up, even in the snow, and even when they don’t have a car, etc. They are committed. They don’t give up. When a person is committed to God, He responds to him/her. God’s wisdom comes forth. People also come forth with similar passions, and resources are attracted. Commitment is a powerful force on Earth.
Always remember, Commitment is a decision to swap one priority for another. Are you committed to God the way David was?
Psalms 119: 10 & 11 With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.
