What will be your recompense?

In Genesis 8:22, the scriptures reveal that as long as the earth remains, the law of seedtime and harvest will remain. In Galations 6:7, the Apostle Paul said: “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap”. Seeds bring forth according to their kind. In the same way, words and actions are seeds, and we reap according to the words that come out of our mouth, and the type of actions that we share in our lifetime. In Proverbs 12:14, the Proverbist declared: “A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, and the recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him”. The power of our words and actions are clearly revealed in the scripture. Note how he shares that a man is satisfied depending on the fruit of his mouth, and the recompense of a man’s hands. Words and actions. Both are vital. James 1:22 instructs us to be doers of the word, not just hearers. When we speak and do the word, we receive life, love, joy, confidence, fruit that abounds, divine provision,  and the like. The enemy of our souls will always challenge you when you decide to speak and do the word, but stay the course, God will strengthen you, prune you, promote you, exalt you, and establish you. Greater is He that is within you!

Do you know how to release life in your environment?

Wisdom comes from life experience and study. Godly wisdom comes from continuously studying and meditating on the word of God, prayer, making mistakes and dealing with the consequences. Wisdom is a powerful defense and a great life giver. Proverbs 10:31 reveals that the mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom. However, in order for your mouth to bring forth wisdom, you must first fill your mind and heart with wisdom. This denotes personal responsibility. It is your responsibility to continuously learn. That means that one must always remain a student, and always be willing to learn something new every day. Never be so busy that you have no time for the Holy Spirit to show you something new in His word. Remember, you have the power of life and death in your mouth. Make sure that you are always releasing life in all of your communications and conversations. After all, that is what the righteous do!

Proverbs 10:31 – The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom, but the perverse tongue will be cut out.
