The Proverbist reveals that righteous living leads to life and gives health to the body (Proverbs 3:8). Life can sometimes be hard and challenging, and we all experience difficulties in life, but one of the ways we can overcome the negativities that come from time to time, is to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. Even though the wicked might experience earthly prosperity, know that not far behind, trouble follows. And trouble will always catch up with the wicked (Proverbs 15:6).
Don’t ever compare what you have to that of a wicked person. You might see them seemingly enjoying their spoils with impunity, but the day will come when they experience terror, destruction, distress and anguish (Proverbs 1:26, 27) . But God gives the righteous peaceful sleep and prosperity.
Proverbs 10:16 “The labor of the righteous leads to life, the wages of the wicked to sin”
