This is God’s will!

King David was the busiest man in the kingdom, yet he would get up early every day to pray, worship and bless God. He would ask for daily wisdom. He would pray for his family. He would ask God to help him defeat his enemies. When he was sad, tired or despondent, he would ask God for new strength. Jesus taught us to pray every day. Prayer is a high privilege and an extremely important responsibility. Someone once said: “Nothing happens until someone prays!” Today, we are called to pray, not only for ourselves, but also for those in authority. This is God’s will for us, and it is pleasing to the Father when we intercede for our families and nation. Have you been interceding in prayer for your family and nation?

1 Timothy 2:1 – 4 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
