We already know how this ends!

I love the movie “the ten commandments” with Charlton Heston. I’ve seen it countless times. I know every part of that movie. I even know how it ends. Yet, I still look forward to the burning bush part, and my favorite part is the parting of the Red Sea. Simply spectacular. Well, it’s Easter weekend and it’s Saturday, the day between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. We all know the story. We all know how it ends. Yes, that’s right! Jesus comes out of the tomb, alive! I’ve heard the story countless times, yet I still am thrilled at the outcome, and at what the resurrection means for us. That means that all His promises are true! He is alive, so that means that all who trust in Him will also overcome and receive eternal life. Because He rose again, we are now His sons and daughters and co-heirs with Christ. This TRUE story never gets old. We know what happens Sunday, so this should give us eternal joy and peace that passes understanding, even in the midst of any crisis!

Romans 5: 8-10 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life”
