We must do our part as part of God’s family!

In John 17, the Lord Jesus prayed to the Father that we would be one, just like He and the Father are one. This is God’s will. We are part of His Body. However, many in the United States are only interested in what others can do for them. They don’t care about others. They are not interested in helping anyone else. They are not interested in being part of His Body. This selfish mindset has even crept into the church. Many go to church to “get blessed.” They are not interested in serving in the church, or helping others, and just as long as the church “helps and blesses” them, they will attend the services. We need to turn away from this mindset, and catch God’s heart for His Body. If the Holy Spirit lives in you, this truth will resonate with you.

Ephesians 4: 4-6 – “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all”
