This is a year to accept your assignment. You can only add value to others when you receive and accept that you are called by God to fulfill what He has called you to do. We all have a calling and assignment. This assignment was given to you even before you were born:
Jeremiah 1: 4, 5 “Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
Note that God revealed to Jeremiah that the call of God in his life wasn’t something that was given to him as an adult. It was given to him even before he was born! That means that you are already predisposed with abilities and passions within you that others won’t have nor even appreciate. What excites you might not excite others. Don’t feel bad about that. You are the one that has been called to fulfill that assignment, so if you’re not understood nor appreciated at the moment, as you fulfill your assignment, others will see the value and importance later on. The important thing is that you give your gifts and talents to God so that you can be that vessel of blessings that He created you to be!
1 Corinthians 12: 4-7
“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all”
