To foresee something is to see or know something beforehand. It is to effectively anticipate something. This comes from experience and discernment. When I was a child, my mother told me not to touch the hot iron. I touched it. Now I can foresee that if I touch a hot iron, I will get burned. Proverbs 27:12 says, “A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.” I get very concerned for people when they make hasty decisions, especially when the decision can hurt them or others. How many times have I heard someone say to me, ” I wish I would not have made that decision so quickly.” Be prudent; take some time to do some research before buying something. Investigate that product or service a little more before buying it. Get to know someone better before getting into a relationship. Going forward, refuse to be a simpleton. Instead be prudent. Your future depends on it!
Proverbs 27:12 “A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions.
The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.”
